Even a one thousand mile journey begins with a single step
Human Design is more than a reading. It is a process. That is why the energetic transmission is so important. Receiving the information is only the beginning. If you do not enter the experiment, nothing happens. It stays mental. Human Design works on the form. It works deep at the cellular level on the conditioned patterns of behavior.
By taking the first step, experimenting with the simple techniques that are given to you in your reading or session, you begin a journey. Human Design does not tell you what correct action is - it gives very practical tools to guide you to your own correct action. In that is is very much like a new form of Zen.
Zen is about presence and awareness. It is about mind without mind. For me this is about having one's mind as a tool but not allowing the mind to guide one's life and believing what it says. Zen is about returning to the natural state where there is inner harmony. This is about the deconditioning process from who we are not - to who we truly are. It is the journey from the Not Self to the True Self.
It requires discipline. I used to think sitting in Vipassana or Zazen was difficult - nothing could compare with the discipline I needed to stay within my own experiment. As an adult to go against all the conditioned patterns of behavior is not easy! And all you truly need is your strategy and making decisions correctly (and that is never from the mind).
I have always loved that Human Design was about the Maya. How do we live in the Maya in a way that we can flow and accept what is as it is? How can we live in the Maya without any suffering? Human Design gives each person the Mechanics of the Maya and is a way of reading the genetic code of the unconscious and the conscious. From this information, a person is given techniques that they can experiment with for themselves to see if it helps them on their journey.
Awakening with Human Design
Many ancient traditions including Zen focus on the pursuit of awareness and on becomeing "awake" or "enlightened". Many human beings over thousands of years have been seeking to overcome pain and suffering. Suffering is a big word in Buddhist thought. "The essence of life is suffering" is a quote from Buddha.
Yet, so much of our misery is created by our mind. By looking at the open centers on your chart, you can see where the mind has come into play in your life. We cannot stop the mind from talking. We can only become aware of it and what it tells us.
This awareness is simply the consciousness that is within each of us. It is not our body. It is not our mind. It is not our personality. It is the witness without agenda and without attributes. This consciousness is the "original face" in Zen. That which never dies. x This is Aquarian knowledge. It allows you to be your own teacher. All the great teachers of the past had truly found something within. They would often say "Awakening happens when you stop looking for it". To follow your strategy day by day is the key to the awakening process. It begins to erode a mind driven life and you begin to align to your true nature as the cells in your body become decondtioned. x For thousands of years, people have been seeking. They have traveled far and wide in the hopes of finding answers. With experimenting with your strategy, there is no where to go. You stay in your life as it is. You simply bring your strategy into your life. You don't have to leave your life, your family or your job. Simply take the strategy and make it the foundation from where you live your life. You simply pay attention and follow your strategy. When you realize you are not paying attention or using your strategy, just resume doing so. It is that simple.
You may be surprised to discover that all you have been seeking you find right inside of yourself and your ordinary life. You actually find your spirit right within your mundane life. It is the mystery and magic of being in form - of having these bodies. It is already there waiting for you. x No need to clean or clear the past. Simply start with Now. Follow your strategy as your discipline and the rest takes care of itself. It is truly that simple. To honor yourself and to respect yourself becomes a way of life. From that, the next step happens naturally. You then honor and respect those people who are in your life. It is quite an extraordinarily ordinary process that unfolds!
It is not easy. It is hard work. Shatttering and great shifts in seeing and understanding happen. It takes seven years of truly being in the experiment to clean out all the conditioning and old patterns of behavior. It takes a long time to really see the mind and let go of it as what drives you into action and into believing what it says is true. And it never dies. There is always a vigilance needed. c
There is no need to search for who you are.
There is no need to try to find your spirit.
It is already there inside of you. c Human Design gives you the key so that you can follow your unique path to your true self. c
The Zen of Human Design Human Design gave me a way to be in my very form and be in a flow with the universe.
It gave me a technique to live correctly within my own form.
It gave me a way to stop meeting resistance.
It gave me a way to slow down and to learn waiting.
All of this helped harmonize my own unfolding life with that of the universe.
It gave me a way to not allow my mind to interfere with my own life.
I learned from experimenting that there is an intelligence within that is in complete harmony with the universe.
I have learned from slowing down and learning to wait that Dao flows very slowly and yet is never stagnant and is incredibly powerful.
Even in the early stages of my experiemnt, I felt myself aligning and coming into natural balance with the universe.
